Bethel woman charged with DUI

A Bethel woman escaped injury when she failed to make a corner and ended up in a ditch.
Cindy Shushereba, 52, was arrested for driving under the influence after Vermont State Police responded to a vehicle crash on Christian Hill Road in Bethel.
When they arrived, police found Shushereba's Chevrolet truck had gone off the road. They reported speed was not a factor, but that Shushereba just failed to negotiate the corner. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and there were no other people in the vehicle. It was totaled as a result of the accident.
