These are some of the calls received by the Barre Police Department from April 23-27:
April 23
A caller from Key Bank asked to talk to an officer about counterfeit bills the bank had received.
A Silver Circle resident said someone vandalized her car.
A caller advised that there were two kids on Brook Street yelling obscenities and one appeared to be smoking marijuana.
An Averill Street resident said someone hit her car while it was parked on the street in front of her house.
A caller said two men threw a bicycle in the river from a bridge on South Main Street.
Police took a report of a car on the Barre-Montpelier Road driven by a male who was drinking beer.
Police held Dana Howard, 22, in protective custody for the Montpelier Police Department.
A caller advised they were threatened by a man with a gun on North Main Street. After some type of confrontation, the man told the caller he had a gun and showed it to him.
A Seminary Street resident said someone egged her car.
April 24
Edward Brown Jr., 43, was lodged on an Orange County warrant.
A caller from the Good Samaritan Haven on North Seminary Street told police that a computer monitor was stolen.
Kelly Guardino, 18, was lodged in protective custody with a blood-alcohol level of .162.
A Summer Street resident reported a theft of two bikes from his front porch.
A two-car accident was reported near Allen Lumber on North Main Street.
April 25
A Mount Street resident said her husband left home with her car and then sent her several suicidal text messages and a picture of him in the vehicle holding a knife. The caller did not know his location.
A Highgate Drive resident called to report her 23-year-old adopted daughter missing.
A caller requested that police move along a group of drunks who were fighting across the street.
Police took a report that a male just assaulted a female in a backyard on Shurtliff Place.
A caller said someone broke the rear window out of his truck on Auditorium Hill.
An assault was reported on North Main Street.
Barre City Police assisted another agency and lodged Aaron Alexander, 44.
April 26
Zebulon Lester, 19, was lodged for alleged simple assault.
A caller reported a child abuse incident at a Pleasant Street location.
Two kids were reportedly playing in a construction zone on Summer Street.
A drunk male was reported on North Main Street.
A caller said they could hear a male yelling "help me" possibly in the area near Dollar General on South Main Street.
April 27
A male with a self-inflicted cut to his neck area was reported at a Parkside Terrace location.
A theft was reported at Maple Avenue.
Police responded to a verbal dispute on North Main Street in front of Aaron's.
A computer screen was reportedly stolen from a Brook Street location.
A verbal altercation was reported at Jiffy Mart on North Main Street.
A caller said a male threatened him with a knife on North Main Street.
Possible child pornography was reported at a Websterville location.
Nathan French was arrested for alleged domestic assault.
