CORINTH – Police crashed a party on Cookeville Road late Friday night and cited two people for underage drinking.
Chelsea Dunham, 18, of Newbury and an unnamed juvenile both allegedly failed preliminary breath tests, according to police who arrived unannounced shortly after 10 p.m.
Police, who were responding to an anonymous tip, said they spotted two females they later identified as Dunham and the juvenile duck into a back room upon their arrival. At the same time they said a group of males, who were all of age, came out the front door.
Dunham's blood-alcohol content was .034 and the juvenile's was .049, according to police, who said both had previously been through diversion for underage consumption and were cited to appear in Vermont District Court in Chelsea on May 20 to face similar charges.
