Bethel, Tunbridge break-ins reported

BETHEL — Police are investigating a string of burglaries that occurred Friday.
Friday evening, police received three burglary complaints from residents in Bethel and Tunbridge. Police said that sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., residences on Cleveland Brook and Macintosh Hill roads in Bethel were broken into. During the same period, a residence on Gee Hill Road in Tunbridge was burglarized as well.
In each case, police said, the burglar or burglars targeted cash, jewelry and other small items of value. In the two of the burglaries, the occupants had left their residences unlocked.
