These are some of the calls received by the Barre Police Department from Feb. 11 – 15:



Feb. 11

A caller said her daughter was assaulted at Barre City Elementary School.

The Rite Aid Pharmacy on North Main Street said someone was dumping bags of garbage in their dumpster.

A Summer Street resident said her daughter was harassed by three boys who were crossing the road. They yelled foul language at her, the caller said.

Soup & Greens told police they got a call from a male who asked what the wait was for food. according to the police report, when they said the person at the restaurant said there was no wait, the caller stated: "Even though we planted a bomb 45 minutes ago?" The dispatcher advised them to evacuate the building.



Feb. 12

A minor accident was reported behind El Sol on North Main Street.

A South Main Street resident said she would like her boyfriend removed from the residence.

A two-car accident with no injuries was reported on Foster Street.

A Barre Town resident said her vehicle was hit when she was parked at Spaulding High School.

Three juveniles were reportedly engaged in a fight in the parking lot of the Medicine Shoppe.

A two-car accident was reported at Beckley and North Main streets.

A two-car accident was reported at the intersection of Brook Street and Seminary Street.



Feb. 13

A Short Street resident said their residence was broken into and items were missing.

A black lab was reportedly running in and out of traffic on Highland Avenue.

A caller reported a bad check for $300.

A vehicle was reportedly sideswiped on Circle Street after crossing the center line to go around a pedestrian. The caller said the mirror was torn off their car, and the other driver didn't stop.

A Federal Express package was reported stolen from South Main Street location.

A caller said they were harassed by a male subject in front of Dunkin' Donuts.

A caller from Zan Street said she was receiving calls from her son in Connecticut.

A fight was reported on North Main Street across from the courthouse.

A male and female were reportedly outside on North Main Street.

Kids were reportedly throwing rocks at cars on Burnham Street.



Feb. 14

A caller said he could hear a female yelling something about murder and going to jail in the area of Maple Avenue.

A caller said a van hit a median, hit signs by Allen Lumber and then drove off.

Several callers reported a dumpster fire at Norway and Son, Inc. on North Main Street.

A Pearl Street resident said her cell phone was stolen.



Feb. 15



A Brooklyn Street resident said her car keeps getting egged at night.

A Prospect Street resident said someone shot out the window of an apartment door.

A caller advised that three or four males were shouting, and maybe fighting, in the area of Brook and Harrington streets.

Police held Billie Joe Gilmore on protective custody.

Police held Sean Foster, 19, for allegedly violating his conditions of release.

A Washington Street resident said her apartment was burglarized. Things were strewn all over and money was missing.

A Spaulding Street resident reported a theft or narcotic medications.
