BURLINGTON – Anne Treadwell and Scott Bliss are engaged to be married.
She is the daughter of Suzanne Murphy and Brad Peterson of Williamstown and Richard Czaplinski and Kinny Perot of Adamant and Warren.
He is the son of Wilda and Jeff Pelton of Springfield and the late Wayne Bliss.
The future bride graduated from Montpelier High School in 1985, Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., in 1989 and the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1993. She is a freelance editor.
The future groom graduated from Green Mountain Union High School in Chester in 1986 and the University of Vermont in Burlington in 1990. He is a wellness teacher and cross country and basketball coach at Champlain Valley Union High School in Hinesburg.
A June 27, 2009, wedding is planned in Burlington.
