Police break up youth drinking party

BROOKFIELD – Police busted an underage drinking party on Churchill Road in Brookfield where about 20 underage individuals were drinking.
At about 10 p.m. on Friday night, state police received a report of the party. State police and the Orange County Sheriff's Department responded and took two people into custody who had warrants out for their arrest.
Another person was arrested for disorderly conduct, and another turned over to his parents for disorderly conduct, though he wasn't cited for the offense.
The investigation is ongoing, police said in a news release, and the names of individuals will be released when further charges are announced and the investigation is complete.
