NORTHFIELD – A Roxbury resident was arrested on New Year's Eve for a handful of offenses, including his second count of DUI.
Adam S. Chamberlin, 28, of Roxbury, was driving east on Stony Brook Road, when his car went into a ditch, according to the Northfield Police Department.
Police said that when they responded to the scene, Chamberlin tried to flee, but fell down several times. Chamberlin refused to submit to a breath test, police said, so he was cited for driving under the influence. Chamberlin was also cited for driving with a suspended license, disorderly conduct and unlawful mischief.
He is scheduled to appear in Vermont District Court in Barre on Jan. 15.
