These are some of the calls received by the Barre Police Department from Dec. 29 – Jan. 5:
Dec. 29
The Learning Together Center on Brook Street reported a smashed window.
A possible burglary was reported at El Sol restaurant on Main Street, where a window was smashed.
Two kids were reportedly inside the old Thrifty car rental building on South Main Street. The caller said they paintballed the inside of the building.
A Barre resident said her cell phone was stolen at Rowan Court Health & Rehabilitation Center.
A caller from Dunkin' Donuts requested that police clear the parking lot of loiterers.
A Barre resident said her brand new iPod was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at Domino's Pizza. The caller said her vehicle was unlocked.
A Barre resident said they were getting harassing text messages.
A Barre resident said a window was smashed at the real estate office that used to be The Tip of the Cone.
A caller said her boyfriend took off with the rent money.
Dec. 30
Chittenden Bank on North Main Street called and told police that a nearby vacant building, the old TNT building, had its front windows smashed.
A Northfield resident asked to speak with a police officer about an identity theft.
A Barre resident asked to speak with an officer about an assault.
Joshua Hicks was lodged for the Department of Corrections.
Dec. 31
A caller from Branch Street said someone was knocking on her back door.
A caller said he had four tires slashed on his car that was parked on Center Street.
A minor accident was reported on North Main Street by Coins & Hobbies.
A caller said his vehicle was hit by his neighbor's and his car now has a large dent.
Police took a report from a man who said he had located his dog which was stolen from his apartment in Northfield the previous week.
Ashley Stout, 20, was lodged on a warrant.
Eric Jones, 32, as cited for criminal offense of driving with his license suspended on North Main Street, according to a police report.
Jan. 1
A Center Street resident said they got back from vacation and found their residence burglarized.
Someone reported to police that his vehicle was hit, the person who hit him left the scene, but then called back to try to "make it right," the police report said.
Jan. 2
A caller said they hired someone to clear their roof on Fairview Street a couple weeks ago and that person left with her roof rake and now they won't return it.
A caller said they were assaulted on North Main Street.
Three kids were reportedly throwing ice chunks at cars on the beltline.
An assault was reported on Spaulding Street.
A two car accident was reported on Route 62. The caller said one car left the scene and was left on the median.
A caller said she had her purse stolen from her vehicle on Third Street.
A 19-year-old female at a residence on Spaulding Street was reportedly bleeding in a tub with wounds that were possibly self-inflicted.
A caller said a female was out of control on Bailey Street. She reportedly cut a clothes line and has a large butcher knife and is locked in a room.
On Prospect Street, a female was reportedly in a restroom with alcohol poisoning.
Jan. 3
A caller said the crosswalk sign near Coins & Hobbies was missing a bolt, the wind was whipping pretty fast, and they were concerned that it may come loose and injure someone.
Police took a report from someone who said their neighbor was running little cars up and down Elmore Street. The caller said it was very annoying.
A possible burglary was reported on Wellington Street. The caller said they arrived to check on friend's house and pets and found the door kicked in.
A caller said they were assaulted at Green Acres apartments on Bergeron Street.
Donald Alexander was lodged on a warrant.
Jan. 4
Jeffrey Nolan, 50, was lodged on a warrant.
A Pleasant Street resident reported her cell phone stolen.
A South Main Street resident said her medications were stolen the day after Christmas.
A Webster Avenue resident said her inspection sticker was stolen from her car.
A Pearl Street resident said he was robbed by another man.
