BARRE – Karen Caffrey and Kevin Pellon were married Aug. 23, 2008, in a double-ring ceremony performed by Brian Cummings at St. Anne's Shrine in Isle La Motte.
The bride is the daughter of James and Bernadette Caffrey of South Burlington. The groom is the son of Robert and Caroline Pellon of Barre.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Lisa Caffrey, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Susan Gelman, Emily Bartling, Sarah Goodrich and Marlena Pellon were the bridal attendants.
Martin Milne was best man. Stephen Pellon, brother of the groom, Kevin Bombardier, Brett Krasniewicz and LJ Dicarlo were the groomsmen.
Antonia Pellon, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Matthew Pellon, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at Shore Acres in North Hero. The couple honeymooned in York Beach, Maine.
The bride graduated from Rice Memorial High School in South Burlington in 1998 and from the University of Vermont in Burlington in 2003 with a degree in mathematics. She is an account manager for Dealer.com in Burlington.
The groom graduated from Spaulding High School in Barre in 1990 and from Plymouth State College in Plymouth, N.H., in 1994. He works for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
They live in South Burlington.
