These are some of the calls received by the Barre Police Department from Dec. 23– 28.
Dec. 23
A caller told police they were concerned about a homeless man who was sleeping at St. Monica's
A Fairview Street resident told police that a friend of his received a threat that someone was going to slash his tires and then he found his tires slashed. The caller said they had saved the text messages.
A caller said they were having trouble reaching a man with whom she had been involved in an accident.
A Washington Street resident said her boyfriend just broke the TV.
A South Main Street resident said they wanted to make an identity theft complaint.
A hit and run was reported.
A Washington Street resident reported getting harassing phone calls and said she had several of them stored.
Dec. 24
Tanya Hoyt, 27, was held for the Department of Corrections.
A caller from the Department for Children and Families reported a threat from a client.
A caller reported a theft of a catalytic converter from his vehicle.A Bergeron Street resident reported a custody dispute, saying a man was refusing to return the kids.
An Ossola Place resident reported a broken water line.
Dec. 25
Elijah Phelps, 26, was held for the Department of Corrections.
Dec. 26
A male was reportedly hollering and screaming on Eastern Avenue.
A two-car accident was reported on South Main Street.
Joseph Ducey was lodged for the Vermont State Police.
A caller advised that he had just dropped a woman off at the Budget Inn, but she was refusing to pay her $60 fare.
A possible drug sale was reported in the parking lot of the Times Argus on North Main Street.
A window was reportedly broken out on North Seminary Street.
Dec. 27
A burglary was reported in a Washington Street apartment.
A caller told police that they had their passenger side window broken out on Averill Street.
Police took a report from a man who said that two men were outside on Bugbee Avenue trying to fight with him.
A caller said that the back window of her was broken out while she was parked on Merchants Row.
Dec. 28
Christopher King, 33, was held for disorderly conduct with a blood-alcohol level of .221.
Maggie Hart, 49, was held for the Waterbury Police Department.
A caller said her Toyota Echo had a side window smashed out on Farwell Street.
A caller said she had a tire slashed on her car while it was parked on Washington Street.
Kids were reportedly giving a store clerk hard time; they wanted to get on the roof to retrieve a shoe.
A tree limb was reportedly in the roadway near the intersection of Camp and Cassie streets.
On Summer Street, a driver reportedly drove into a building twice and then stumbled into the building.
A Bergeron Street apartment was reportedly broken into.
Kids were reportedly throwing things at vehicles on Smith Street.
Earl Rogers was lodged for the Department of Corrections.
A caller reported a sex offense; she said her 16-year-old is reportedly fooling around with a 30-year-old.
