These are some of the calls received by the Montpelier Police Department from Dec. 8 – 14.
Dec. 8
A Gould Hill Road resident reported that a suspicious truck went up and down the road a few times.
Police received a report of a blue bike on the path on the side of the Catholic Church on Barre Street.
A blue car was reported blocking access to a handicap vehicle.
Police received a report from someone who lost their wallet while in Montpelier on Sunday.
A resident reported a low hanging wire on Barre Street that goes across the street.
A red Toyota vehicle was reported parked in the crosswalk in front of a Main Street establishment.
Dec. 9
Police received a report of a Vermont-registered vehicle that pulled into a jobsite on Northfield Street and dumped trash.
A vehicle was reported parked on the sidewalk at a crosswalk on Main Street.
A large, older dog, possibly a hound, was reported loose on Berlin Street.
A North Franklin Street resident reported two scams to take money from them.
Police were asked to assist in getting keys back to a person.
A set of keys belonging to a Vermont-registered vehicle was found at a Main Street location.
Police received a report of some type of alarm going off in the area of Dog River Road.
A male was reported in the middle of the road screaming at Barre and Main streets.
Dec. 10
Police received a report of an SUV off the road near the train tracks on State Street, with a train nearby.
Patriot memorabilia found on the sidewalk on Main Street was turned in at the police station.
A blue Ford Taurus was reported due to suspicious activity.
Police received a report of a salesman who came to the door of a Prospect Street address, selling meat and seafood.
Police received a call from someone who wanted to say, "Hello darlings."
A grey and black specialized 19-inch mountain bike was reported stolen from a porch on Shipman Place.
A resident reported his dog was bitten by another dog, which resulted in a $50 veterinarian bill.
A Crescent Lane resident reported their teenage daughter had not returned home.
Dec. 11
Police reported having a stream of water running down Barre Street.
A Montpelier resident reported a chocolate Labrador, named Clancy, took off.
A Moonlight Terrace resident reported the neighbor's dog, a light brown mixed breed, was loose.
Police received a report of cars speeding on Main Street.
The word "CRIPP" was reported written in blue spray paint at a school on Main Street.
A gray Toyota with Maryland plates was reported blocking a driveway on School Street.
A Boxer-American Bulldog named Rudy was reported for running off.
Police received a report of a loose dog with Montpelier tags.
Police received a call about a 20-foot motor home that slid off the road in the area of Bailey and Clarendon avenues.
Dec. 12
Police received a report of a large amount of water running down the road on Northfield Street near the Economy Inn.
Central Vermont Railroad advised there was a problem with a railroad crossing.
Police were notified of a call from someone who received a call from someone pretending to be a relative.
A black Collie-type dog was reported running loose near Hubbard Park.
Car(s) were reported for partially blocking a Barre Street driveway.
A red Subaru hit a parked green Jeep on Barre Street.
Police received a report of an East State Street resident blowing snow out into the roadway.
A male called to report someone trying to break into his vehicle.
Police reported having a male in a wheelchair with no place to stay.
Police reported being out with a male hitchhiking.
A concerned citizen reported a male, possibly intoxicated, walking on Memorial Drive.

One caller reported that the operator of a tan pick-up was tailgating them.
Police were asked to assist with a gasoline drive-off in Barre Town.
Police received a call from a Main Street resident who advised them that they are going out with dogs versus coyotes.
A box truck was reported hit, glass in the road.
Police reported a silver Toyota with an obstructed plate.
Dec. 14
Police received a report that a customer of a Memorial Drive establishment made threats.
A woman reported her ex-boyfriend struck her in the head.
A female reported being followed by a male carrying a rifle.
One parent reported their 17-year-old son receiving a tattoo without parental permission.
A Main Street restaurant reported that an individual left without paying for dinner.
Police reported following a vehicle with no tail lights.
