CHELSEA – Ashley Lynn Smith and Zachary Grote are engaged to be married.
She is the daughter of Laurie and Kevin Braman of Chelsea and Daryl and Catherine Smith of Bradford.
He is the son of Peggy and Glenn Grote of South Royalton.
The future bride graduated from Chelsea High School in 2004 and from the University of Vermont in Burlington in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education. She is head teacher and assistant director at Tunbridge One Planet After School Program in Tunbridge.
The future groom graduated from South Royalton High School in 2002. He works for Applied Research and Associates Inc. in Randolph.
A July 18, 2009, wedding is planned in South Royalton.
