Leo Valliere has been on the Barre Board of Civil Authority for many years. It is that board which is responsible to be a watchdog on the voter checklists and voting processes in the city.
If there are irregularities or problems with the voter checklist, then why hasn't he already taken care of it? Was it because he was winning? Leo's voting record shows him to be a better lap dog (on Douglas') than watchdog.
He says he's not a sore loser, yet he will throw the election into question at the expense of Vermont taxpayers because he cannot accept the will of the people when it goes against his own will.
Shame on you, Leo, for not investigating and correcting the voter checklist before this. It was your duty to do so.
Barre City voters made a wise choice: If Leo couldn't handle tasks on the Board of Civil Authority, then he is not capable of the tasks required of a legislator.
