WHITE RIVER JUNCTION – Vicki Backus, 53, died Nov. 24, 2008, at Hanover Terrace Healthcare in Hanover, N.H. after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband, Denis Backus of White River Junction; two sons, Kenneth and Justin, both of White River Junction; her parents, Robert McCay of Wilder and Lucille McCay of Rutland; four grandchildren and five sisters.
A graveside service will be held Dec. 3, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Vermont Veterans Cemetery in Randolph Center.
Knights Funeral Home in White River Junction is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spina Bifida Foundation of Vermont or Kidney Foundation of Vermont.
