Governor James Douglas looks over balsam firs Tuesday during his annual Governor's Christmas Tree Cutting at the Gilbert Farm in Williamstown. Douglas selected and cut two trees for the Statehouse in Montpelier, one for his ceremonial office and one for the lobby.
