MONTPELIER – Saturday is National Didgeridoo Day and there's a celebration in the capital city. Beginning at 7 p.m., the final show will be held in a three-part series called Save the Endangered Didgeridoo, which focused on what some say is the oldest instrument in the world. Local Didgeridoo player and enthusiast Pitz Quattrone is hosting the free event at the Unitarian Church on Main Street.
The event will include a workshop and a musical performance by the Earthman Band, featuring didgeridoo, djembe and bass. Special guest, Montpelier's slide guitar whiz Chris Robertson, will be sitting in with the band
