MONTPELIER – Find the perfect pumpkin or apples for a festive pie at the Thanksgiving Farmers Market this Saturday.
Opening at 10 a.m. in the Montpelier High School gymnasium, the holiday farmers market will be open until 2 p.m.
Fresh, local farm products, baked goods and locally-produced crafts will be sold by the 48 vendors expected to attend. Door prizes will be available as well.
Beginning in December, and going until April, the farmers market will move to the Vermont College of the Fine Arts campus. Every first and third Saturday throughout the winter the market will be open, providing freshly-made goods.
