WILMINGTON, Del. – Helen Goodrich Tynan, 92, of Wilmington, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008, in Forwood Manor.
Mrs. Tynan was a career employee for the DuPont Company after she had worked in New York City and had graduated from New Rochelle College, N.Y. She had formerly worked for the Raytheon Corporation in New York.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Tynan; her brother, Robert Goodrich; and her sister, Virginia Fahey. She is survived by her brothers, Julian and John Goodrich.
A Memorial Mass will be offered on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Brandywine Catholic Church, 10 Old Church Road, Greenville, Del., where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be later in Montpelier.
