MONTPELIER – The Vermont Fiddle Orchestra sponsors a day of Appalachian fiddling on Saturday, Jan. 12, beginning with a workshop in the morning, a jam session in the afternoon, and a concert featuring the Damn Yankee String Band at 7 p.m. Everything will happen at the Unitarian Church at 130 Main St.
