BURLINGTON – The Bluegrass Gospel Project and Events for Tom present a "Benefit for Betty" concert to be held at the College Street Congregational Church on Friday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m. Betty is a vibrant 5-year-old who was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. She's in the early stages of a difficult three-year course of chemotherapy treatment, but the Colchester, Vermont resident isn't in this alone; the community is rallying to offer support to Betty and her mom, Jennifer Faul, as they bravely confront this cancer together. The Bluegrass Gospel Project, one of New England's premier performing groups, is offering its talent to the cause with an evening of sublime vocal harmonies and string band virtuosity.
