Marijuana probe leads to charges

EAST CORINTH — The Vermont Drug Task Force conducted a two-month marijuana distribution investigation that led to the arrest of a East Corinth man on charges of the sale and possession of marijuana and a narcotic.
Police said 27-year-old Devin Fryar was charged in the case and cited to appear in Vermont District Court in Chelsea on Aug. 22.
According to police, the drug task force was assisted in the case by the New Hampshire Drug Task Force, Vermont State Police, Uniform and BCI divisions and Immigration, Custom and Enforcement.
The investigation included multiple sales of pounds of marijuana worth thousands of dollars. A search warrant was also executed at the Fryar residence, which is a three-story residence located in East Corinth.
During the search, marijuana, multiple assault rifles, and tens of thousands of dollars were located and taken into evidence.
