EAST BARRE – Brian Jun Wu, age 12, of Marois Ave., Gorham, N.H., died tragically on April 29, 2007. Brian was born on June 22, 1994, the son of Wing and Teresa Wu. Brian leaves his loving family: his mother and father, sister, Katie, and two brothers, Eric and Kyle.
Brian was a seventh-grade student at the Gorham Middle/High School. Brian was a well-liked young boy and had many friends. He was a very beautiful, loving, happy and kind young boy who enjoyed helping others. He spent many days snowboarding with his friends at Wildcat. He loved to skateboard, ride his bike and be with his family and friends. Brian had a heart of gold and will be missed terribly by his family and close friends, Zack Wedge, Andrew Lemieux, Caine Warren, Spencer Morais, Ethan Demers and countless others.
Brian is survived by his paternal grandparents, Ngna and Chi Wu; uncles Steven and Jeun Wu; and aunts Ping, Ching and Kiki, all of Yuen Long, Hong Kong.
Brian is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Bette Jangraw, of Gorham, N.H.; his aunt and uncle, Donna and Jim Buchanan, of Derby and their children, John and William; his uncle and aunt, Robert and Suzanne Jangraw of St. James City, Fla., and their children, Justin and wife, Heather, Aubrey and Nathan; his great-aunts and uncles and their families, Pat and Gene Farnsworth of East Barre, Dick and Carolee Jangraw of Quinton, Va., Gail and Freddy Olinger of Blacksburg, Va., Kenneth and Irene MacAulay of San Antonio, Texas; and uncles Edward Jangraw of East Barre and Donald MacAulay of Barre. He was predeceased by his grandfather, John J. Jangraw.
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday, May 3, 2007, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 33 Exchange St. in Gorham.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 4, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Church Street in Gorham, with Father Richard Roberge officiating.
Interment with graveside services will be held at the Middlesex Center Cemetery in Middlesex on Saturday, May 5, at 11 a.m.
The students at the GM/HS have set up a scholarship fund in memory of Brian and contributions may be sent to Donna Tonnatheriault, c/o GM/HS, 120 Main St., Gorham, NH 03581.
