Advice to president: Step out of the hole
Toolbox

Ken Bush is "confused" by the reaction to his letter regarding President Bush's handling of the Katrina disaster.
Rather than admit that a single day's action doesn't stand up to the systematic dismantling of yet another government program, in this case FEMA, Mr. Bush once again comes to the president's defense.
I have a question for the President's spokespeople, those who loyally deliver the administration's sound bites: What do you do when you find yourself in a hole?
My advice? Stop digging.
